Just in time for the Halloween season comes this 2nd effort from the aptly named ‘I am Ghost.’ It all starts in eerie fashion. Whispering vocals introduce us to the album with fairytale-esque music echoing around her. And then it all gets a bit metal. Male metal at that.
We’ve been down this road before. But there is enough, metal, emo-rock and well many of the foundations of popular screaming rock here to keep fans happy. But it is in its quieter moments where the true inspirations lie. If they could do a quiet album of moods then they might be onto something worthy of remembering. See the Interlude song for that. Sadly it’s well under 2 minutes long.
