Recalling the manic sound of early Sinead O’Connor, Florence and the Machine seem to have a lot of artistic Oomph and power behind both their beats and the lyrics. But a band with this much to say would sure pad out their releases with the odd B-Side. Nope! We just get this highly impressionable Adam and the Ants meets Mad Irish Folk song – and once it’s gone you are left wondering what the hell just happened to your ears – and then looking for what is next.
