So this is the album that everyone in the UK is waiting for let alone the rest of the world. After the success of his debut single, selling over 750 thousand copies, he is the biggest promise for 2011.

This wonderfully titled album starts pretty moody and sensual before moving into a more fun and carefree arena. Nearly every song is about an obsession with a woman and has no real insight into the heart of this artist, however this in no way impacts the album negatively.

This album is packed full of fun and has a carefree attitude as much as Bruno’s home island of Hawaii.

Album opener and newest single ‘Grenade’ is hard hitting and powerfully builds to become an extremely strong message of love. Other songs like ‘Marry You’ and ‘Runaway Baby’ are super fun and get you bopping along to the rhythm.

Damian Marley makes his stamp on ‘Liquor Store Blues’ giving it a truly Rasta reggae feel. Track ‘The Other Side’ is one of those tracks where the artist describes themselves as a monster, which would seem quite self critical if it wasn’t for Bruno and Cee Lo’s vocal prowess.

Two other tracks worth mentioning because they don’t fit the normal bill of the album are ‘Taking to the Moon’ and ‘Count On Me’ which are soft, sensual ballads. The first seems toget Mars to open his soul to the apparent onset of the fame he is currently experiencing, whereas the latter describes how important friendship is to him.

Overall, this entire album will be at the top of the charts for a long time and will be enjoyed by everyone regardless of age or musical taste!
