The Federals
The Federals - Take It EP
Released: 13th September 2009

From rocking in a dark garage in York to playing with the likes of The Howling Bells and The Black Lips, it has been a steady rise for The Federals. Their latest EP `Take It’ offers up some fast, furious punk sounds with serious attitude.

These four angry lads have clearly listened to and been influenced by the likes of The Stooges, The Who and The Sex Pistols. Though they have their own sounds, and bring a freshness and vitality to the UK garage/punk scene.

Tracks such as `Take It From Me’ are lively and easy to rock along to. `Say’ has a more laid-back feel, while maintaining the rock drum beat. These short, punchy songs are catchy enough to have you singing along in full voice.
