This single must be aiming to showcase the bands Jekyll and Hyde contradictions. 'Things Ain't What They Seem' is a Muse-esq rock out, with vocals reminiscent of Michael Stipe, building into a fairly cheesy guitar riff. While 'Like a Stone' is a delicate mid-set slow burner with softer vocals but not forgetting the necessary rock ending.
Spark of Life. The name must be ironic; they're a bit bland and nowt outstanding. I can imagine their sound filling small venues fairly easily, but not much beyond that.
