Lana - Trippy Kind Of Love
Released: 5th April 2009
Label: Monumental

A hollow string led introduction makes the deep, hearty and Janis Joplin replicating vocals bracing and fresh.,/b> In ‘Trippy Kind of Love’, Lana oozes mystery, depth and an earthy quality, as she embarks upon a low-key instrumental foray. This element and the chilled out, yet mystically bold vocal projection blends well together.

For ‘Rainbow Song’, Lana uses a lusher backdrop to contrast with her soulful blues vocals to create a dusky and contemplative ballad.

This former backing artist for Fiona Renshaw, demonstrates that she has the control, range and backing to step out into the limelight. This is in order to give us some forceful and mundane contemplation.
