In Manchester of all the places to be in, you'd be forgiven for thinking you were in a certain scene with all the floppy haired track top wearers or the Liam Gallagher look-a-like with his long coat and big shades. Tonight it seems like there is a mixture of the 80's "Madchester" scene and the 90's Oasis followers. It's no suprise however. Ian Brown is in town.

Through all the chants of "Ian Brown" one of Manchester's finest men finally arrives on stage. He arrives with a powerful charisma as he overlooks the crowd. There's a confident charm to Ian Brown and as he would sing in his former band, tonight he does look like the ressurection.

Sure there's an absense of a couple of big Roses classics but that doesn't matter. The likes of "My Star," "F.E.A.R" and "Just like You" were enough to ignite a frenzy into the crowd. Ian Brown projects the Manc swagger as he pulls off some of his signature moves. Tonight, he is the best dancer in the entire venue.

It doesn't matter that Ian Brown's voice has been criticised in the past. Ian's voice shoots through the entire area as people sing along with him. They all look at him in a europhic trance. Brown hyponotises everyone as he says "Let's see if you can all do the dance" before Stellify. All the crowd follows as they raise and push their hands in the air along with the man. Ian Brown is the king of Manchester tonight.
