On first listen I thought Viva Machine were just another Emo/rock band trying to be cool, until my research uncovered something much worse, they're Welsh. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against Wales, I do, however have something against people singing in a whiny American accent, when they're blatantly not American. With a sound not dissimilar to Death Cab for Cutie, 'My Jet Set Radio' even manages to encompass a barber shop quartet with all of the guys sounding American, it made my skin crawl.
